Welcome to Comfort -- Comfort, Texas

My Comfort cookie is an example that not every cookie sign adventure goes as planned! Which is quite alright. When we were driving back across the country, we didn’t get a chance to stop in Comfort. Spencer had been driving for hundreds of miles and while he was napping, I was the one to drive through Comfort. I did not realize how tiny it actually was and with the trailer we were towing, I wasn’t comfortable to pullover. And with my unfamiliarity with the area, I had a hard time finding a spot. Even when I drove through town I couldn’t spot the welcome sign. Since I didn’t want to disturb Spencer from his much-needed sleep for the hundreds of miles we had ahead of us, I just kept driving. Womp. Womp.

But we can’t live with regrets! I still made the sign so it deserves a blog post! I chose this sign to make because I loved the town name and thought it was so cute it is referred to as “an antique town.”
