Main Beach Lifeguard Tower -- Laguna Beach, California

Laguna Beach was an annual family vacation growing up — we were visiting longggg before the show Laguna Beach made it popular. I have so many fond memories in this quaint and artsy beach town. We used to stay at Vacation Village, now Pacific Edge Hotel. I’m pretty sure I learned to swim in the pool here, and so did my brother…my dad may have even learned to swim here too! The family tradition of visiting here goes back for decades. (Enjoy some throwback vacation photos.) When we made a visit for the cookie signs, I had to make many, starting with the iconic lifeguard tower.

Perched above the golden sands of Laguna Beach, the iconic Lifeguard Tower stands as a steadfast sentinel, safeguarding the shores for generations. Its striking silhouette against the azure horizon signifies not only a haven for beachgoers but also a testament to the rich history of this coastal paradise.
Laguna Beach, nestled along the picturesque California coastline, has long been an enclave for artists, adventurers, and surfers alike. With its pristine beaches, rugged cliffs, and vibrant arts community, it has enthralled visitors since its humble beginnings in the late 1800s.

Over the years, the tower has witnessed the ebb and flow of countless summer seasons, evolving alongside the town itself. Its prominent presence has been featured in art exhibitions, television shows, and films, immortalizing its significance in Laguna Beach's cultural landscape.
So the next time you stroll along the boardwalk of Laguna Beach, take a moment to appreciate the Lifeguard Tower's enduring legacy. It is a testament to the town's indomitable spirit, its commitment to preserving its rich history, and its unwavering dedication to keeping the waves safe for all who seek solace and adventure by the sea.
